I just arrived in Newy and walked up Hunter Mall to find old DJs lit up like a Christmas Tree. It’s the Bodhi Festival. Having looked at the attendees (who are still doing mysterious spiritual things within) I have decided that the Festival is rather like TINA Festival for middle aged, middle class people. People who like Indian Khadi.
The instance of Nepalese homespun pants in town has increased massively!

I'm Wayne Mullen. I've moved up from Sydney to Newcastle part time. I'm always amazed at how down outsiders can be about this city. I have a great time in Newcastle. I eat well, live near the beach and have great friends. I thought I'd use this blog to share my thoughts about photographs, art and events around town!
